Voltaren 100mg tablets are for the treatment of the temporary and severe forms of pain and inflammation caused by arthritis, rheumatic diseases, muscle and back pain, and other joint conditions.
Voltaren 100mg tablets contain diclofenac potassium as its active ingredient. Voltaren belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Voltaren works by reducing the amount of chemicals that cause pain and inflammation. Voltaren works by blocking the effects of some chemicals, which cause pain and inflammation.
Do not take Voltaren tablets if you are allergic to diclofenac, or any other ingredients in the tablets. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have any other allergies. Avoid consuming alcohol as it may increase the risk of side effects from Voltaren.

The active ingredients in Voltaren Gel 12 Hourly are diclofenac and aspirin.
Voltaren Gel 12 Hourly should be applied twice a day for 12 hours. The usual recommended dosage is 2 g, 3 g or 4 g gel twice a day. You should also apply 1 g gel twice a day for 12 hours on the affected area. The dose is then gradually increased until the recommended maximum dose is 1 g. The dose should not be more than 2 g in a 24-hour period. The maximum dose is 2 g for the first 12 hours and 1 g for the next 2 hours on the affected area.
If you forget to apply Voltaren Gel 12 Hourly, apply a second dose after the first dose and continue applying the gel until the next dose. Do not apply a third dose of Voltaren Gel 12 Hourly to the affected area.
